Jupiter: Richard's Ruling Planet...

Jupiter: Richard's Ruling Planet

The ruling planet is called this because it is the planet that rules over the Ascendant sign. In this case since the Ascendant is in Sagittarius we are going to discuss and cover Jupiter. Might as well start at the beginning and give you a comprehensive amount of information regarding this planet.

The energy that Jupiter gives off is that of Faith and growth in all areas of life. It has to do with beliefs, ethics, expansion that leads to faith and joy. Jupiter brings out opportunities and enthusiasm but as a result can make a person filled with excess, over ___ ing anything, and has a hard time stopping. Jupiter also touches on travel, philosophy, religion, the broadening of knowledge and understanding. Anything big or the bigger picture and GOD are all associated with this type of energy.

Normally, Jupiter is considered an outer planet which means that it deals with others and the outer world treatment of you and your interaction with it. In fact this is the first outer planet we come into contact with. It is also considered to be a generational planet since it spends a year in each house taking twelve full years to make it back. But given it's placement in Richards chart we will consider it a personal planet because it aspects Mercury, Venus, Mars and the Ascendant making the energy act as if its a personal planet. Jupiter gives us the stepping stones to understand our development and functioning of relating to others helping you to evolve your consciousness.

Since Jupiter has such a big pull over Richard in his life let's see how these afflictions came about. Jupiter is the planet of relating. The first person we com into contact with on this level is the mother- for it is she that feeds you when your hungry. Hold you when you need comfort and this is how you learn your survival techniques when dealing with others as a child. Our childhood is suppose to teach us how to deal with others and how to relate to others to create an interpersonal relationship. Some children learn this with flying colors while others can have trouble fitting in. Jupiter is the planet that one looks at when there is an issue with relating to others into adulthood as well as what motivates or what blocks a person from being their best. since this is a very special Jupiter it takes on a different approach: Jupiter describes the beginning of self relating to the outer environment but because of all the aspects to the personal planets it also describes Richard's personal attributes.

When Jupiter is afflicted it shows that Richard was born into a family where relating to one another was not well developed. We already know that Mom and dad liked one another at Richard's time of birth but it is clear now that the interactions that he witnessed between mom and dad are the basis for his life as he knows it. Richard didn't see them consider each others needs, or that they didn't listen to one another in his presence. so now when Richard goes to relate to others he is suddenly whisked back to his childhood and has flashbacks of how he should be acting. this may manifest as expressing himself in an nonconstructive way, dilemmas caused by " i want it anyway", relate excessively, over expand, over relate, pursue whims that aren't based off of common sense, no conscious idea of what he wants in life, inability to examine ones own personal needs because he was denied this as a child or never saw his parents doing the same thing.

In Richard's case, he needs to be able to relate to the person that he loves with these things in mind.  He must learn how to relate his feelings, thoughts, and personality to someone else if he want more than just a role-playing relationship with someone. Because of this affliction Richard needs to learn to consciously relate to another person.Jupiter symbolises the need to integrate the knowledge we learn into our daily lives keeping the knowledge in perspective. A learned person uses the knowledge to set himself apart, to maintain a position above others and remained untouched by those whom he comes into contact with.

Jupiter in Libra
Richard's life philosophy has to do with a strong sense of justice and he feels it on a personal level within his one-on -one relationships. It can also come from how Richard views/perceives society. Richard's faith in life rests upon his belief that justice exists. if it doesn't his faith diminishes. Understand that justice is not always seen on the surface level and has to be sought out in order to bring about change in your mind of in a court of law.

Jupiter in the 10th house
this placement shows that Richard will become well known for the qualities of faith and enterprise and other personal talents- concerning law, drama, teaching, religion or the military. Being involved with someone or something prestigious  is inevitable. Sometimes with this placement Richard may tend to focus on his work life more than his personal life, home life or inner life. Don't forget honesty and integrity are necessary in performing your duties or disgrace can result if you have too much enthusiasm for publicity, fame and fortune. This stems from your mother's influence concerning your inclination to excel and cut out the outside world.

Aspects to Jupiter
Jupiter squaring Mercury
Indicated that Richard was raised in a home where words weren't used well the mood of  the childhood environment was somewhat excessive, and people were hurt by words- they aren't supportive of each other. The family finds communication difficult; family members are more involved with role-playing than relating to others. Because of this Richard went on believing that this attitude s normal as well as the assumption that the relationships are normal when words are difficult. This aspect needs to be confronted and put into a different perspective. Jupiter expands the consciousness, new ideals but it cannot do that if one's own words are not received well. Richard has a hard time with talking openly in a relationship once its started. Richard may not relate honestly, may not listen, not hear what others have to say, and can possibly destroy relationships  by misquoting what he heard. The ability to communicate can be learned if he thinks that its of high enough importance. His excessiveness can be curbed and understood for excessive and angry communication only hurts others.

Jupiter squaring Venus
Venus symbolizes how we appreciate love, our intellectual concept of love, the ind of warm loving relationships we want to have (friendships) the kind of entertainment we prefer, our concept of the perfect love affair, our predilection for comfort, and our appreciation of art objects. Add Jupiter which signifies how we relate- how we open ourselves up to the universe around us and how we relate to those we love. Venus shows us whats in our heads Jupiter describes how we reach out to get it. Venus shows us how the mother image affected the psyche and the concept of the feminine. Since this is a square or a hard aspect Richard tends to be excessive. So he'll fall in love one minute, fall out of love the next minute and then freak out/ overreact in the relationship when there is some nuance that he doesn't understand. Men born with this placement have a slight fear of women due to the fact that his own mother was unpredictable and he may have subconscious memories of her reactions to life that were formed by the time he was 3 years old.  Richard projects this uncertainty onto any women that he meets; may have difficulty taking marriage or relationships seriously. May enter a relationship just so he can play the "daddy" role. Here the relating principle doesn't match the concept of love. When Richard is love he may not be able to relate or appreciate being loved by the person who cares. He has a hard time knowing what's good for him since he can't relate to what he wants.

Jupiter Trine Mars
Mars has a 2 fold manifestation of its life force: symbolizes that kind of actions we take to express our sun sign qualities or it can be used to determine how we act "sexually". When combines with Jupiter we have a psychical interactions with the ability to relate. Since Jupiter shows us how we relate to our own needs and since this is an afflicted aspect we see that he isn't relating and that Richard is overcompensating as a result. This aspect also shows how Richard parents were relating sexually at the time of his childhood and how the family related to actions taken in the household. Since this is a trine aspect the afflictions aren't as apparent. the family atmosphere was that of encouragement and positive constructive action. As a child Richard had someone on his life that encouraged him and showed him through other family interactions that one can relate to what one does and that one can be open about action taken. This is a good indicator that Richard enjoys sex and enjoys loving but it comes at a price.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn
Saturn represents how the father may have affected us psychologically during our formative years. It also represents Father time/ or father nature symbolizing how we crystallize our life experience, how we cope with being tested. Since Jupiter shows how we relate together they show how we relate to the changing life cycles, new approaches to each new perspective in life giving us a crystal clear view. This shows that Richard will benefit well from the process of individualization ( the process of becoming self-responsible) Since Saturn has such a limiting effect in general these two aspects together is pretty interesting. Jupiter shows how we open up and Saturn shows us the restrictions placed upon us because of our father's attitude towards us, or our response to his influence. Which shows that Richard has a tendency of opening up and then closing up at the same time. Richard might want to reach out and share a new experience  but be afraid to do so because of an unconscious memory that authority figures or even his father figure didn't like him doing. It can also mean that the father is a restrictive influence when the individual is learning how to relate. maybe the father cannot relate easily either. With a conjunction this indicates that Richard takes relationships seriously, that he may work too hard on developing all the potential in a relationship. or it can indicate a person who takes relationships so seriously that he is afraid of making a commitment, or even starting a relationship at all. Richard may have relationships similar to the type that his father had , and that pattern can be determined by exploring memories of his father's friendship over the years. once the pattern is understood the father's influence will be diminished and Richard will be free to  pursue the kind of relationships he wants to develop for himself.

Richard needs to develop a perspective on both how he reaches out to relate as well as understanding the restrictive influence from his father- and both aspects of personality will developed. he cannot relate fully until he takes responsibility for himself.

Jupiter sextile Ascendant
The ascendant indicates how we project our persona; it reflects how we handle our new beginnings. Jupiter shows us how we relate to ourselves to to others and how we relate to our own personal needs. we either understand what we start or we don't.

What did we learn from all of this?
After looking at Richards Jupiter Influence it is clear to see that there are some unresolved issues with Richard's childhood namely his ability to relate to others and express himself in a befitting manner. As children we look to our mother and father for verbal and non verbal cues to emulate our parents. Here Richard only saw the role-playing aspect of his parents and never got to experience them together showing a better version of a relationship. If if wasn't for another family member trying to show Richard that there are better ways of going about having relationships with people then Richard might be worse off than he is. Since a lot of Richard's issues are stemming from what he took as a normal mom and dad relationship can all be remedied if he puts forth some effort to re-evaluate his views on how his parents related to one another and how he relates to the people in his life. Richard has to make a conscious effort to not be afraid of sharing emotions in relationships. His tendency to open up and then close himself off is a defencive mechanism that keeps him safe from pain. Also Richard needs to recognize that all of the thoughts. and feelings that he has for his mother and by extension other women are not all fair depictions of femininity. Since both parents highly influenced Richard as a child he needs to understand who he is as his own individual; He keeps looking for the answers within someone else but in fact all of the answers that he needs can be found within himself if only he had the courage to stand on his own 2 feet and let go of past misconceived notions regarding family, love and relationships. Since Richard's head, heart and soul are of an intellectual nature this might be more difficult to achieve. But if he really took the time to calm his fears about his parents, relationships, and his personal view of himself he would find that things will naturally be better for him. Only problem being it is something that he has to do for himself but once he does there will be no stopping him!

Aspects of the Big 3...

Continuing from yesterday Richard's chart shows a theme of father or father figure issues as suggested by the big 3 placement in his chart. In astrology if there are any aspects between the sun and the moon they are said to give you insight into the father (sun) and the mother's (moon) relationship when their child comes into the world. Here we have a sextile relationship with the sun and moon meaning that mom and dad genuinely liked one another at the time Richard was born. This means that his father had a beneficial impact on young Rich's life being seen as a strong productive individual whose authority was accepted by all. Richard's emotional state is in unison with his spiritual state. Being an air sign again we see that Richard would rather think about his feelings than actually feeling them.

Aspects affecting the Ascendant
Ascendant opposing mars
the ascendant tells us what action we are trying to take. Mars is the planet that tells us how to take action. due to this being an opposing aspect it is harder to see how this energy manifests itself and hard to energize the creative potential within the personality.

Ascendant sextile Jupiter
Here the ascendant is the indicator of how we project our persona. Jupiter indicates how we relate ourselves to others, and how we relate to our personal needs. For Rich it shows that he relates to others by opening up in a manner that compliments the personality that he has put forth.

Ascendant sextile Saturn
The key term here is caution/ circumspection. this shows that Rich was raised in an environment of careful decision making. chores and values go hand in hand with authority and tradition. The childhood environment encouraged adult actions taken.

Ascendant conjunct Uranus
this is the blending of how the persona will manifest with the ability to develop consciousness or the capacity for eccentric behavior. In a conjunction, this is a unique aspect. the qualities of the rising sign will enhance (Sagittarius) approach to life will be unconventional, unorthodox and Rich's personality will have to manifest a more highly conscious reflection of the rising sing qualities. What this means is that Richard may be a GEMINI but his personality persona is more akin to a Sagittarius; the opposite and complementary side of Gemini.

Aspects affecting the Sun
Sun opposing Neptune
It looks like the sun is opposing Neptune... The "I am" is being subjected to the world of dreams, illusions and fantasy. With this placement it is easy to let the fantasy world rule you but if you can focus on the inspiration and not the delusional it will be okay. Richard needs to learn how to mesh his inspiration/ delusions into qualities of self hood. Because it is the sun opposing Neptune there is a sense of loss and need for compromise. The father (sun) is more involved with himself than Richard and as a result Richard becomes ignored. this confusion makes Richard doubt himself and who he is as a person. Neptune opposing the sun can also mean that either Rich romanticized or cast aspersions onto him so Richard isn't really sure who his father is. This results in Richard creating his won fantasy world where he can escape into since he now feels that he is living a lie. Because of this distorted sense of the individuals personal reality Richard will learn to become very intuitive and psychic. As this is carried with Richard into adulthood it will manifest as difficulties forming a loving relationship. Expectations are put on high when Relationships are concerned and can be unrealistic and full of fantasy. Neptune shows that his feelings are often hurt by too many people too often which causes a shell around his heart. The main thing that this aspect shares is that much of Richard's difficulty in this area can be traced to his father for being in his own spiritual world instead of paying attention to his own son. On a good note: this aspect makes him highly creative.

Sun trine Pluto
The "I am" being subjected to the collective unconsciousness. This is a transformation the needs to be gone through in order to learn valuable lessons about yourself. Pluto causes a feeling of uprooting,  being overwhelmed by someone or something that is bigger than us, and stronger than us in order to learn to let go of our obsessions, control and trust in the universe. this is a two level manifestation of Rich's soul making a constructive trip: 1 rich is going along for the ride allowing him to enjoy all the things of contemporary culture or 2 Richard has the energy and talent to work cooperatively with traditional manage mental concerns dedicated to doing something for humanity. As long as Richard is involved in some kind of group endeavor this energy will manifest in a constructive way. At least at this age Rich's father doesn't show him a negative work world and makes Richard feel more secure.

Aspects affecting the Moon
Moon aspects
The moon represents how we respond emotionally to everything. It governs how we react to our world experiences, emotional experiences directed towards us,what we respond to in terms of love poetry, and politics. It also represents the physical mother at the time of birth.

Moon trine Neptune
Neptune represents our inspiration-delusion-creativity function, spiritual development, creative urges, universal or impersonal love and shows us how we delude ourselves. It shows that we associate our spiritual urges with our emotional responses. With the contact of the moon this indicates that Rich was born into a home where spiritual development was very important to the mother. since this energy aspect fosters spiritual insight Rich would benefit from meditation  expressing his creativity, and a chance to grow spiritually. Richard thought that he had to follow his mothers spiritual guide and tried to avoid learning these lessons  but we must find our own spiritual path. This aspect can cause Richard to forget about finding love here in this world because he is so caught up in finding universal love in the "spirit." His creativity is limited as long as the body will not permit emotional relationships. Since Richard displays his love spiritually he is used to conveying that in relationships. Since his body is the "temple of the soul" it needs to be nourished and loved as much as the soul it houses. Once Richard learns that he may find himself in a close relationship sharing both mentally and physically.

Putting it all together
So what exactly does all of this mean? well It looks like Richard's father is the reason that he has shaped his life in the way that he has whether or not he realized it. That both parents neglect of Richard in an emotional way still carries with him into adulthood manifesting in his relationships or lack there of.  That his mother, although loving and nurturing, pushed Richard to be on the spiritual fast track but didn't explain that her path may not be his path which may have given him a distaste for spiritual endeavors early on in childhood. If he works at it he can get back to the positive spirit. Both parents to some degree lived in their own little private worlds in which Richard wasn't a part of confusing him even more. This "emotional loss" is the sole reason why Richard acts the way that he does in  any kind of relationships. Making unreal expectations onto women whom he knows can never measure up to either his ideal of his mother or to the perfected images that he has of her.  Due to his father's emotional unavailability Richard grew up feeling emotionally neglected and pushed toward more escaping facets of his life. It seems that reading religious books, spiritual endeavors and meditation will help Richard in finding balance and centering of himself. but most importantly we learned that in order to be the person that Richard wants to be he's going to need to let go of all of his preconceived notions that he learned from his father and make new ideas that are suited to himself; not to others. That the ideals that a woman should embrace may not be the same ones that he embraces with his mother.  If it wasn't for his parents and them being romanticized in his head Richard might have let go of these things that are holding him back in life now and be the better version of himself that he can be.

Understanding the Birth/Natal Chart Part 1...The Big 3

Note: The Phone number on this picture is out of date. If you would like to contact me please use the email in the picture above.

Thanks to my friend Richard Hill we will be using his birth chart to Research and discuss. The Astrological software program I use is called Solar Fire Deluxe and it creates some really beautiful images of charts and other things that I use in my life interpretations. My approach is slightly different than most astrologers; I also look at the psychology behind what the planets are saying. The Instant Astrologer by Lyn Birkbeck is another handy book as well as Astrological Insights Into Personality by Betty Lundsted that I use as a reference into your life.

The birth chart or natal chart is our universal fingerprint if you will. Everything that you need to know about yourself can be represented in your birth chart. A birth chart is the placement of the stars at the exact moment in time that you were born. This tells you what kind of energy you are working with and how it can manifest in your physical life. There are many different apporaches to interepreting this chart but all will tell you what you need to know.

So let's begin with the BIG 3:
Ascendant/Descendant, The Sun and The Moon

The 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock  opposition... Ascendant vs. Descendant (Sagittarius vs Gemini)

I  like to start at the 9 o'clock position of the chart which is called the ascendant. The ascendant can give you vital information as to how the client, in this case Richard, is perceived by the world. The ascendant, as well as the first house, represents the person's identity; character, first impressions and self expression. Here in Richard's chart we see that his ascendant is in the sign of Sagittarius which is an interesting placement because he is a Gemini. This is the most impersonal of the fire signs being born into the most personal of the air signs which makes him highly idealistic, likes to concern himself with foreign affairs, how the legal system works, philosophy and religious ideas. For richard his whole wolrd focused on the father; where the father was the center of everything. Sags traditionally seek out approval and love from their father or father figure when they are younger striving to be like them but internally know that they can't. Later the father dissapears and he is left with a void looking to others to replace what he lost with his father. With Saggitarius as  the Ascendant it shows that he grew up having everything and anything that he wanted. But for some reason his emotions were neglected. To compensate, Richard developed self-confidence and enthusiam but questioned his own personal values. Richard portrays himself as a superior being like he envisioned his father being and puts forth that kind of energy expressing himself with a grandiose sense of confidence and self assurance. Since Richard's ascendant is Sagittarius and the first house is also ruled by Sagittarius Richard's ruling planet is Jupiter. This planet governs the link between exterior being and your inner being. We will talk more about Jupiter in part 2...

At the 3 o'clock position we have the descendant which also represents the 7th house. The Descendant represents the "OTHER" person inside of you or your shadow. it also represents the equal and opposite reaction to the Ascendant. Simply stated it is the alter ego, better half or your projected self. In this case we see that the Descendant is in Gemini. Richard will naturally attract people who embody the characteristics of Gemini due to his broad and effortless grasp of all manner of things. Geminis adore learning and knowledge and for someone like Richard to engage their intellectual talents makes them all the more attractive because they have found someone on their level.  To the Gemini Richard becomes a role model and is put upon a pedestal. This can be a tricky opposition because Sagittarius energy is such that they can talk a big game but not much to show for when called on it and when the Gemini energy realizes this it begins to scorn them intellectually making Richard come off as smug or pretentious. Richard can handle this most of the time unless the Geminis multitude of information annoys him. Sagittarius energy is one of positivity and romance but with Gemini on the Descendant it can become a worrisome nature that takes on a inept quality. Normally Richard would put this on the OTHER but it is actually his own worry and ineptness that he's trying to hide. If he is honest with himself about his doubts then he will be more self confident. Since the 7th house is also ruled by Gemini making Richard's ruling planet Mercury which governs  relationships. Again we will talk more about Mercury in part 2...

The Suns Position in GEMINI
After we take a look at the Ascendant I look at the position of the Sun which describes the will and purpose of Richard. The sun represents spirit, heart, what is most important to you; negatively, your conceit and egotism. Since Rich's sun is in Gemini one of his life goals is to interact and meet as many people as he can in this life; make connections with them and learn. Geminis like to know alot of people but do not like to know them more than they have to. Sort of like taking a taste test. If you want a deep involvement you may need to look somewhere else. Geminis love to multi task usually involving hands, quick wits, and making sure that their group stays connected. Downfalls can be unreliable, evasive and indifferent. As a gemini child Richard shared the added pressure of living up to his father expectations that we see in the ascendant but it is manifesting in this aspect as well. Gemini children look up to the father and put him in the brightest of lights thinking that they can never reach them. Like sags they do everything they can for the approval and love of their father but it too is also denied.

Sun in the 7th House...
Due to the sun's placement in the 7th house Richard lives vicariously through the lives of others especially one significant persons life but  has to be careful because he does have a tendency to put his life in the hands of others taking on their persona. So do not loose yourself in others Richard you may not be able to tell which is which! But in all areas of self growth and discovery relationships in particular are when Richard will bloom. He tends to seek out people who are his true mirror's reflection in order to gain self knowledge. Due to his father's dissmissal of him as a child Richard feels more comfortable with women than men and has a distinct lack of trust for men. So the type of women that he might seek out would be one that has superior intelligence, perfect body, and can keep up with his adventures. If he has a hard time communicating his own feelings and understanding hers its because he really doesn't know how to convey them. The woman may have to work extra hard to gain his trust but it will be worth it in the end.

The Moon's Position in LEO
The moon is reflecting what the sun represents: your feeling responses, reactions to "OTHERS" will, your childlike security needs, represents mother, family, survival instincts, sympathy and sense of belonging. Negatively fear of the unknown, insecurity, defensiveness. This represents your SOUL and also gives clues as to your previous life. Richard's moon is in Leo, a fire sign, which also goes into what we have already discovered: that he looks to the father for all of his cues. His childhood was set in a father-dominated atmosphere which put a high price on perfection. which means that Richard needs to receive attention and acclaim in order to feel at his best. This stems from two possibilities in his life: 1 that he did not get enough attention in this manner as a child and as a result becomes uncomfortable with the attention not quite sure what to do with it. Or 2 he did get alot of attention and expected it into adulthood which makes him upset if he doesn't get noticed, reconized or appreciated. In order to function Richard needs a means of getting attention, holding it and justifying it. But needs to prepare himself for constructive criticism because the child in him will get upset if it doesn't receive unconditional admiration from others. When stressed out he might show off to gain attention or can become arrogant. He may be proud of his mother or she might be proud of him. Leo's are usually generous to a fault if they think it will get them the approval that they deserve. This can also give him a double standard when it comes to life because everythiung he knows he learned from dad.

Moon in the 9th House...
This placement shows that he has energy, enthusiasm and is aware that the world is bigger than you imagined it to be. He keeps chasing that which is the mystery of life and may have developed the ability to read signs and omens. Richard is happiest when life is moving in motion. His caring and nurturing ability can take on a crusader-like tone and his well being is essentially a spiritual matter. He finds comfort in adventure, exploring the world through higher learning, travel, religion, and philosophy.

Polarities: The triangle that makes up the Big 3

By just taking a brief look into the BIG 3 we have discovered that Richard is not a true Gemini- but rather a blending of Sagittarius, Gemini and Leo energies put together to equal a GEMINI. The main theme here is that Richard came into this life overshadowed by the presence of his father in all aspects of his life and transfered all of that knowledge/ life experience into what he knows today.  This is a unique element placing because it is a triangle with 3 positive sides. An all positive polarity is due to the fact that there are 2 fire and an 1 air sign that happen to oppose one of the fire signs. So he adds to the table Intuition, creativity, initiative, adventure and vision times 2 for the fire elements and Thinking, concepts, ideals, principles, impartiality for the air. fire and air signs are known collectively as masculine or positive signs due to them latching onto a strong male presence first in life or taking after their "father figure." This shows that Richard is all male for lack of better wording. When there is all positive masculine energy between the sun, moon and ascendant it is said that the person is all mind or living through the spirit. There is a lack of feminine or negative energy to balance this all logic and intellect. Richard even "thinks" his feelings rather than take the time to feel them. As a result he often doesn't pay attention to what woman have to say. Something he learned from his father. This can turn into him looking for a woman with impossible ideals to live up to redirecting his ideals on what a woman should be. unfortunetly due to this kind of placement Richard will be dissapointed in any woman whom he feels is too human because humans make mistakes and his woman has to be perfect. You may see this as flinting from one woman to another in search of the one or  it can manifest as violence towards women for not being the person that he wants them to be. In this case its the first not that latter.

Welcome to Clockwork Illumination...

Hello and welcome friends to my newest endeavor Clockwork Illumination- where I help you find Illumination in your life one tick at a time!!! Here, I will attempt to give my clients a formative view of their own personal astrological clock and how it relates to their life, and the lives of others. As a life interpreter, it is my job to read, analyze and decipher the planetary energies and how they relate to you in your life at this moment in time. Psychology, astronomy, and sociology are also incorporated into what I do for my clients giving them a complete sense of self.

For me this is a 3 stage affair: fist stage being where you came from. Second where you are currently and last where you want to be. When we look at the Natal or birth chart it gives the client a firm footing as to understand what cards they were dealt with when coming into this world. This is a very important first step because if we do not know what we are working with then how are we to figure out what we are capable of. This stage also gives us background information as to what kind of family life you had, how people view you, fears, hopes and things that you may not want exposed.  Once we have learned about ourselves and the "missed lessons" have been addressed we then proceed to the second stage: the Progressed chart. A progressed chart is where you are at this exact moment in time- where you are currently in life. It lets us know what kind of mindset/ behavior you are having that includes your life experience up till this point. Namely where your life has gone in order to get to this point in life. The last stage is putting it all together. Once you know why you are the way that you are and where it is coming from we then work on a plan of success. During this self discovery period we figure out how best to utilize your traits, skills, and energy to make your life more empowering.

This blog site will serve as a collection of interpretations that I have made in regards to the transiting planets and actual natal charts and anything else I find that might help you on the path to being yourself.

Thank you and enjoy!
Ashlee
